Task force - 2005 - by Planning Commission - Chairman is Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) - to develop multi modal transit system for NCR - National Capital Region of Delhi
Identified 8 Corridors.
Priority: 3 Corridors i.e., 1. Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut Corridor 2. Delhi – Gurugram – SNB – Alwar Corridor 3. Delhi - Panipat
Other 5 Corridors are 4. Delhi – Faridabad – Ballabgarh - Palwal
5. Ghaziabad – Khurja 6. Delhi - Bahadurgarh - Rohtak
7. Ghaziabad-Hapur 8. Delhi-Shahdara-Baraut
